Jennifer Lawrence returns as Katniss Everdeen for the third installment of the Hunger Games series, Mockingjay. Katniss wakes up to find the world is in chaos once more, as a rebellion rises from the ashes of the explosion her arrow caused in the quarter quell.
I went this week to the advance screening of Foxcatcher, a biopic about Olympic wrestler Mark Schultz’s (Channing Tatum) grooming by multi-millionaire Jon DuPont (Steve Carrell) in attempt to come out of his brother Dave’s (Mark Ruffalo) shadow.
The film was directed and co-produced by Bennett Miller and very oddly at that. Here’s what i noticed about it:
I chat to Daniel Condon and Daniel Holmwood, co-writers/directors of the short film Downside up about a a brother who is his brothers carer. They talk about making their first film together.
I talk here to Alex Fegan a filmmaker about his latest documentary ‘The Irish Pub’, which has recieved attention globally. I speak to him about how he got into film as well as the production company he co-founded, Snackbox films, that helps others get into film as well.
